Spivak Architects worked closely with the developer of this building on the entrance lobby and amenity spaces in addition to the alteration of several condominium units. This was an Alteration Type 1 project to change the use of the basement into amenity spaces. The double height lounge space is entered from the main lobby, easily connecting people between the floors with a grand staircase. The height and openness of the space allows light to flood into the basement lounge and recreational spaces. Also in the basement is a work room with a kitchenette, a gym and fitness room. We worked closely with the sponsor’s interior designer to help select the finishes and fixtures that compliment the industrial, yet warm aesthetic of the space.
